A Google Review usually has two main parts: a star rating and a written opinion. Star-rating is required, but the opinion is optional—we hope you’ll take time to include your written opinion. Five stars mean you loved what the business had to offer and would highly recommend them.
Here are some tips that will help you in writing your review:
1. Add information and be insightful: Google recommends users be specific and describe what other people can experience or expect from the business.
2. Provide authenticity: Talk about your experience(s) vs. those of others. Think about what you liked or what you think can be improved and share information about that.
3. Be respectful: Negative reviews don’t have to be rude reviews. Provide constructive feedback so businesses can act on it. Share the information in a way that’s helpful to the business so they can implement any necessary changes.
4. Consider grammar and punctuation: Check spelling and grammar. According to Google, a paragraph is great length for a review.
5. Don’t share personal or professional information: Avoid including phone numbers and don’t write reviews about places you used to work for.

How to Leave a Google Review for FEWA (must have a Gmail/Google account)
There are a few ways that you leave a Google Review
If you have a Gmail/Google account, follow these steps:
1. Open your internet browser.
2. Go to the FEWA-Federation of Employers and Workers of America Google Business Profile
3. In the Business Listing (on right the FEWA-Federation of Employers and Workers of America) scroll down and look for the Reviews section.
4. Click “Write a review.”
5. A sign-in box will appear if you are not signed into your Gmail/Google account. You will need to sign in to your Google account to leave a review.
6. After signing in, you will be given the option to select a certain number of stars and write out details of your experience(s).
7. Click Post after selecting a star rating and then leaving a description.
How to Leave a Review on Mobile (iPhone and Android)
Since most of us are on our phones, here’s how to leave a Google Review on a mobile device through Google’s search engine:
1. Sign in to your Google account.
2. Search for FEWA – Federation of Employers and Workers of America
3. When the business information box appears at the top of the page, click on the Reviews tab (blue box)
4. Below the Google review summary, you’ll see “Rate and Review on Google”
5. Click the number of stars you want to award the business.
6. Share details of your own experience with FEWA
7. Add relevant photos to your post if you have any.
8. Click “Post.”
How to Leave a Review on Google Maps
Here’s how to leave a Google review on mobile through Google Maps:
1. Sign in to your Google account.
2. Open the Google Maps app.
3. In the search box, write FEWA – Federation of Employers and Workers of America
4. Scroll down and underneath the photos, click on the “Reviews” tab.
5. Click the number of stars you want to give the business.
6. Share details in the text box—“Tell others about your experience”
7. Add photos & videos if you want to.
8. Click “Post.”
How to Leave a Google Review Without a Gmail Account
Don’t have a Gmail account? No problem. You can leave a Google Review even if you don’t have a Gmail account. Simply follow these steps:
1. Download the Google Maps app on your mobile device, or open maps.google.com in your internet browser.
2. Inside the Maps app, search for FEWA – Federation of Employers and Workers of America
3. Click the business name that shows up on the map.
4. Click the Reviews tab or scroll down until you find the Starred Reviews section.
5. Under “Rate & review,” click the number of stars you want to leave the business.
6. A notice that you are posting publicly will appear.
