Effective December 16, 2024, the new updated Adverse Effect Wage Rates have been published for agricultural work performed by H-2A and workers in corresponding employment applicable to the following SOC titles and code:

  • Farmworkers and Laborers
  • Crop
  • Nursery
  • Greenhouse (45-2092)
  • Farmworkers
  • Farm
  • Ranch
  • Aquacultural Animals (45-2093)
  • Agricultural equipment operators (45-2091)
  • Packers and Packagers Hand (53-7064
  • Graders and Sorters
  • Agricultural Products (45-2041)
  • All other Agricultural Workers (45-2099)

However, for entities and states subject to the order in Kansas et. al. v U.S. Department of Labor, these rates will become effective on December 30, 2024: Georgia, Kansas, South Carolina, Arkansas, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.

Adverse Effect Wage Rates for Range Occupations
Effective, beginning January 1, 2025, the new monthly Adverse Effect Wage Rate for Herding or Production of Livestock on the range will now be $2,058.31. See Adverse Effect Wage Rate for Range Occupations; Federal Register Publication.
