As 2022 ends, we wanted to provide a year in review and a reminder about the services and benefits you and your workers receive at FEWA.
The FEWA Difference
As the H-2A and H-2B program continue to grow, you will find many new names offering advice and services on how to apply for these federal guestworker programs. FEWA remains true to the founding FEWA fathers desire for FEWA not to seek to be the largest H2 provider, however, just the very best H2 provider which also happens to be owned by the employer and worker members as a not for profit 501(c)6 organization. FEWA members rely on the relationships and expertise of your FEWA staff to continue to allow success season after season. We welcome new member applications as we currently have a waiting list for the fiscal year 2024 and we greatly appreciate the loyalty in trust of all FEWA members over the years.
Worker Relief Fund
On two occasions in 2022, the FEWA Foundation assisted worker-members during hardships they faced while working in the United States. The assistance was made possible through the Worker Relief Fund.
The Worker Relief Fund was formed to offer aid to worker-members and their families who face tragedy while performing temporary labor in the United States. Over the years, we have been able to provide thousands of dollars to aid worker-members.
The FEWA Foundation, which oversees the Worker Relief Fund, is a separate 501(c) 3 corporation that operates entirely on donations. To donate to the FEWA Foundation please click here.
FEWA Outreach
Annually, FEWA attends multiple conferences and events across the United States. Below is our list for 2022. We engage in various capacities which provide support for member industries and H-2A & H-2B program education. We also provide educational material for a variety of trade magazines and most recently appreciate the Georgia Urban Ag Council Magazine for a featured article on Have you met Arnulfo Hinojosa, Vice President, FEWA. If you would like for FEWA to attend an upcoming event or educational material for your publication, email your request to Donna Huitt, FEWA’s Business Development Coordinator at dhuitt@fewaglobal.org.
