Jamie Hargraves ventured into her career at FEWA in 2016. Her initial role as a member guide was just the beginning of a journey characterized by growth and resilience.

Before FEWA, Jamie juggled temporary positions such as working outages for South Texas Project Nuclear Operating Company, amongst others. She also cared for her young son, whose health challenges required her undivided attention. This deeply personal experience not only honed her empathetic approach but also became a defining element of her professional identity.

Jamie’s reentry into FEWA in 2018 evolved as she delved deeper into legal intricacies, prompting her to pursue paralegal studies. Now, as a paralegal, Jamie manages complex requests from federal agencies on H-2A and H-2B cases, guiding FEWA’s members through the labyrinth of documentation with precision.

Her story isn’t just about professional growth; it’s about finding a place where her personal trials and professional aspirations intersect, creating a fulfilling career at FEWA.

Outside the office, Jamie balances her career with her role as wife to husband Will, mother to three boys, William, Kellen, and Kase, and as Mimi to her grandson, Axxton.

Her passion for true crime stories also fills her leisure time. Jamie’s journey exemplifies the dynamic balance the organization supports, encouraging its team members to thrive in all aspects of life. Her narrative is a testament to the environment at FEWA, where personal challenges and professional opportunities merge to create a supportive workplace that feels like family.
