The FEWA Foundation is a separate 501(c) 3 corporation for purely charitable causes which operates entirely on donations and grants.
Among some of the Foundation’s programs are:
- Worker Relief Fund – assists workers in dire situations which are typically no fault of their own.
- Scholarship Fund – assists youth continue their education.
- Native American Jump Start (NAJS) – links the community of FEWA employers with the community of Native American high school graduates from Native Reservation Communities in North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming. In many Reservation communities’ unemployment is as high as 85% and willing high school graduate workers cannot find jobs.
- Disaster Job Bank – Developed to assist workers who lost their jobs from a natural disaster find employment. This was developed and last used after hurricane Katrina.
