The Federation of Employers and Workers of America (FEWA) members have the opportunity to recommend a student for the FEWA Foundation Scholastic Awards. Don’t wait, the deadline to complete the online application is Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
Eligibility and requirements are minimal:
- A son or daughter of an Employer or Worker in a company with a diverse work force who is pursuing post high-school scholastic or educational endeavors (college, trade school, culinary school, etc.)
- One recommendation from a FEWA member (either employer-member or worker-member is sufficient). Other recommendations will be considered (up to three).
- Proof that applicant’s parent, stepparent or legal guardian is employed in a diverse workplace.
- One copy of transcripts and proof of grade point average or grade point average equivalent.
- Personal Statement (an essay describing career objectives, 500 words or less)
- Proof of admission to a post-high school academic institution (letter of acceptance from the school and contact information of such school’s admissions officer) Scholarship payment will be made directly to the educational institution.
Students may complete and submit the online application by July 15, 2025
