The FEWA Foundation is accepting applications for the 2026 Foundation Scholastic Scholarship. We encourage FEWA members to identify a son or daughter of your  employees and workers for this scholarship opportunity.

Established to support the educational goals and aspirations of students, the scholarship provides financial assistance to eligible individuals pursuing post-secondary education and/or professional training opportunities.

The FEWA Foundation’s Scholastic Awards program is an extension of the organization’s dedication to contributing to education and professional growth in the green industry and similar workforce communities. Scholarships are available for students seeking further education at certified colleges, universities, vocational schools, culinary institutes, and other similar establishments in addition to trade programs both in the United States and abroad.

To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:

  • Be the son or daughter of an employer or worker employed within a diverse workforce environment
  • Demonstrate plans to pursue post-secondary academic or vocational education
  • Submit academic transcripts and proof of grade point average or equivalent academic standing
  • Provide a personal statement outlining career objectives
  • Present proof of admission to an educational institution as well as proof that such applicant’s parent; stepparent or legal guardian is employed in a diverse workplace
  • Include at least one recommendation from a FEWA member

The scholarship program continues to recognize exceptional students dedicated to achieving their educational and professional goals.

Among those awarded scholarships for 2025 is Nautika Esters from Englewood, Colorado, studying at the University of Colorado in Fort Collins.

Also acknowledged among the scholarship recipients for 2025 is Curtis Goodman of Bay City, Texas, a student at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

Additionally, the FEWA Foundation had the pleasure of supporting an international student named Mireya Estefania Ku Bedolla from Zacapu, Michoacán, Mexico, at the Interdisciplinary Professional Unit of Engineering in Guanajuato, Mexico.

The FEWA Foundation encourages eligible students and families to take advantage of this opportunity to further their educational and career ambitions. By investing in future professionals, FEWA continues to support the development of skilled leaders who will positively impact their industries and communities.
